Episcopal parishioners pray in Form IV of the Prayers of the People, “Give us all a reverence for the earth as your own creation, that we may use its resources rightly in the service of others and to your honor and glory.” Members of the newly-formed Green Team Task Force hope to bring that reverence for the earth to the spaces around St. George and the greater community. In imagining this group, we particularly had in mind families who are interested in a ministry where parents and children can work together, but everyone is welcome! In the two meetings held so far, members have brainstormed some really exciting, active, and beneficial ideas! If you are interested in this group, email Bernadette Williams.
This Sunday, June 4 at 9:00 AM in the Leadership Center Commons
Fr. Ram will offer a quick preview of summer group gatherings for a book study.
All parents of young kids, young adults, and young-at-heart adults and those who desire to be confirmed or received at next year’s Bishop’s Visit are invited.
