We will resume the normal Wisdom Wednesday activities on May 28.
Messy Church is this Sunday, May 11, in the Parish Hall.
The theme is “Mother’s Day.”
One of the stations during this service is Making Mother’s Day Cards!
A reminder that it will occur simultaneously with our regular 10 AM liturgy, so you will have TWO opportunities to worship!
Regardless of which liturgy you attend – Messy Church or traditional worship in Sanctuary, we will share fellowship with each other.
If you prefer “Dressy Church,” you will have an opportunity to make cards after the service during Community Café.
Everyone is invited to make a Mother’s Day card or a Birthday card with the St. George Card Ministry. Everything you need will be provided. Card making is simple and easy to learn. Anyone can do it!
Card making will be one of the fun activities that will be part of our Messy Church morning. Those who attend “Dressy” Church in the Sanctuary will have an opportunity to make a card during Community Café.
Over time the St. George Card Ministry, which meets every third Saturday at 10 am, has created many extra cards designed by members. These cards will be for sale that you can use with your family and friends.
Please come and join the fun with us this Sunday!
Here are suggestions to help with mental health.
The Church offices will be closed this Friday for the Battle of Flowers Parade.
If you have your UTO (United Thank Offering) box at home, bring it to church Sunday so we can process it!
The St. George School Chain of Love domino topple will happen at 8:15, Monday, May 5. Watch as the intricate designs fall.
OPPORTUNITIES TO SERVE AT LARKSPUR
Larkspur needs your help.
- Help children learn to read at Larkspur. If you can give an hour a week, or more, the school will train you.
- The school librarian needs help every day. So please consider offering a day or two to help.
- Help clean out and reorganize one of the closets that is used for supplies, clothes, snacks, etc. that are donated for the children. A team of two would be helpful.
