On Sunday, April 3 and April 10, during Children’s Chapel at the 10:00 AM worship service, we will be doing an Interactive Stations of the Cross designed just for kids! The stations will be divided up and completed over the two Sundays: Stations 1-7 on April 3 and Stations 8-14 on April 10. This very special and engaging Stations of the Cross is formatted especially for the young hearts & minds of children in kinder through 5th grade. It will introduce your kids to the very heart of the Christian story, Jesus’ Passion. There are simple activities for each Station that we will do together that will further enhance the experience, as well as coloring pages for each station. It will be a wonderful and spiritual experience that will help children prepare their hearts for Easter morning! If your kids will not be present on these Sundays, you may click here for the Interactive Stations of the Cross to print and do at home together.

We will be holding First Communion classes beginning on February 13 at 9:00 am. Any baptized child in the 1st-5th grades is invited to attend this 3-week class series! The curriculum we will be using is modeled on the Eucharist format: We Gather (Lesson 1), We Hear and Respond to the Word of God and We Offer our Gifts (Lesson 2), We Celebrate and We are Sent Out (Lesson 3). Because children learn with all their senses, activities and instruction will be included that engage them throughout each lesson.
