Lenten Lunches

On each Sunday in Lent, St. George will be holding a Lenten Lunch at 12:00 PM in the Parish Hall/Cafeteria.  All members of the St. George Family are invited to break bread over crockpots of homemade soup and warm bread, and share in conversation about our Lenten journey.  Come one Sunday or enjoy them all!  There will be no program or agenda–we will enjoy connecting person-to-person during this spiritual walk we take each year.

Soon, every member of the St. George Parish will be receiving a phone call from a fellow parishioner to sign up to bring a crockpot of soup on ONE of the Sundays during Lent (although you are invited to eat at all of them!). It can be homemade or store bought, and we hope that all parishioners consider participating.

• February 28 – Last Name Hankins thru Meier
• March 6 – Last Name Melton thru Sherriff
• March 13 – Last Name Silva thru Z—

When you receive to phone call with the request to bring soup, please don’t hesitate to ask any questions, and please don’t hesitate to say yes! We are looking forward to this new tradition as a St. George family.
