The Funeral Reception Ministry has grown to 20 members! The Reception Ministry Angels prepare and supply all the delicious food and work to make the receptions special for the families The Angels change it up for each reception to fit the family's needs.
These angels are willing to serve at the drop of a hat by bringing sandwiches, cookies, chips, brownies, meatballs, fruit, veggies, lemonade, tea, and goodies to serve the family and friends mourning their lost loved ones. The Angels bring the food, plate it, set up the tables and drinks, and ensure everything is inviting when the bereaved enter the reception area.
During the funeral or memorial service, we serve as ushers if needed, hand out bulletins, and help with altar set up.
During the reception, we keep the tables looking as inviting as possible and help our guests as needed. After the reception, we clean up and put everything away. We are a loving and supportive group that I am proud to be a part of.
