St. George Episcopal School was founded in 1954. Originally known as the Pilgrim School, St. George moved to its current location in Castle Hills in 1972.

St. George Episcopal School is a private preparatory school fully accredited by the Southwestern Association of Episcopal Schools (SAES). We are a member of the National Association of Episcopal Schools (NAES), the Texas Private Schools Association, and the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS).
The Southwestern Association of Episcopal Schools (SAES) is a member in good standing of the International Council Advancing Independent School Accreditation. Each Association Member of ICAISA has voluntarily submitted to a rigorous and impartial review of its accreditation program and demonstrated its adherence to ICAISA Criteria for Effective Independent School Accreditation Practices. SAES is recognized by three state agencies and by eleven Episcopal dioceses within the six states served by the association.
