Worship services at St. George are liturgically-based, following the Episcopal Book of Common Prayer. We follow the Rite II liturgy, which has more modern language. Our Music Ministry offers songs, and our congregation sings hymns at both our Sunday morning services. We welcome children of all ages to our services, provide nursery care at both services, and Children’s Chapel at our 10:45 AM worship time.

The secular world sees Easter as a one day, maybe a weekend, cultural holiday.  For liturgical Christians it is a 50 day season that ends on the Feast of Pentecost.  But what about the rest of the year?  Is Easter a day? A season? Or is it a daily way of living?
Come join Fr. Ram in exploring what it means to live as a resurrection person in the world in this new Adult Spiritual Formation offering.  Discover the tools available to you and your family to help you live an Easter life daily.  Learn about the support St. George offers you to grow as Resurrection Person.  Discover how you can support the wider St. George Community in becoming Easter People.
Class and Workshop begins Sunday, June 4th at 9:45 am in the Parish Hall.

June 4th – “The Power of the Spirit”

June 11th – “…the least of these…”

June 18th – “for the building up of the body”

June 25th – “to whom much is given”

Each class begins starts from Scripture and offers a chance for participants to do some hands-on writing and planning for their own personal Living the Easter Life Plan.

Every Sunday, we have age-appropriate lessons for our young worshippers.  Children begin in the Sanctuary with their parents and follow the acolyte out with their class and will return to their parents in time for Holy Communion.  The children are divided into two age groups.

  • Kinder Chapel for 4 year olds and kindergartners.
  • Children’s Chapel for 1st and 2nd graders

Our curriculum is:

  • Lectionary Based-Offering an engaging and fun way for our kids to hear the same stories that are being told during our regular worship.
  • Bible Centered-Ensuring that our children interact with the Bible in every lesson.
  • Interactive-Children engage in the lesson through interactive games and creative crafts for a fun and exciting learning experience.
  • Leader Friendly-Leaders are provided with easy to use leader packs that walk you through each lesson. There is no training needed, allowing volunteers to get involved.  In addition, the lesson preparation is minimal.
  • Age-Appropriate-The lessons are tailored to specific age groups, yet all the children will learn the same story on the same day, in a version appropriate and interesting to them.
