As you know, for our July Summer of Service project, we are working with the North Central Convening of Churches to give backpacks stuffed with the required school supplies to local children who cannot afford them. If you’d like to participate in the other steps in the process of this project, please see below.
- On Monday, August 1, people will gather at Coker UMC to stuff all of the backpacks. This will take place from 5:00-9:00 PM. Click here for more information about this event.
- On Wednesday, August 10, the backpacks will be given to the children at Coker UMC. Volunteers for that need to be at Coker by 9:00 AM. Click here for more information about this event.
